Matt Sherman is originally from New Paltz, NY and has worked in sports for the last five years. He started in radio, both producing and calling play-by-play for UMass basketball and football at WMUA in Amherst, MA. Following that, he moved his skills closer to home and worked at WBNR/WLNA in Beacon, NY, covering the Hudson Valley Renegades, a Single-A affiliate for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. During this time, he's also authored articles for the New Paltz Times, the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, and more recently fantasysportsjunkies.com.

Currently Matt lives in Philadelphia and works at the Sports Network, a sports wire service in suburban Philly, where he bides his time between the office and covering the Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles in action.

Despite his current place of residence, Matt has stayed loyal to his hometown teams and is a diehard fan of the Mets, New York Giants, Knicks and New York Rangers...and of course roots for his alma-mater, the UMass Minutemen.
